Volunteer Assignments

As a returning and/or invited volunteer, please understand that volunteer assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to experience and availability of the volunteer. We will do our best to place you in your first choice, but remember that we cannot guarantee your number one choice. It is our objective for each Volunteer of the Common Ground Music Festival to experience multiple aspects of the festival operations.  Volunteers are members of the "cast", every role serves its purpose and contributes to the overall enjoyment of our patrons.

We depend on your commitment to the Festival. If your schedule must change, or if you have an emergency, please contact your Team Chair immediately, or call the Festival office at (517) 267-1502.

Volunteers are required to work at least two (2), six (6)-hour shifts throughout the event. In other words, you must commit to a minimum of twelve (12) hours of work.
