About Us

The Common Ground Music Festival is a not for profit 501 c3 corporation, Center Park Productions. Center Park Productions was established in 2000 by the Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA) in a partnership with the conceptual creator of the festival, MiEntertainment Group (MEG).

Since then, 1 million guests have attended the festival attributing an economic impact of $60 million + to the mid Michigan community.

As an official independent non-profit agency of the City of Lansing, LEPFA provides professional management, operation, marketing and maintenance of the Lansing Center, Cooley Law School Stadium, Lansing City Market and other community & regional interest events. (www.lepfa.com)

As a conceptual creator and producer of the festival, MEG continues to produce and provide executive management of the festival. In addition, as a leading producer, promotor and consultant in the "live event" industry, MEG annually produces 300+ nights of entertainment events through out the world for a variety of clientele. The festival presents an impressive array of headline, national-level entertainment each night on multiple stages. Grammy Award Winners, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, and top-level, national and regional music performers of many genres, including contemporary and classic rock, alternative, country, hip hop, R&B and more have entertained our guests. With an attractive, intimate venue, state of the art production and a comprehensive array of patron amenities, the festival continues as the premier outdoor music event of the summer in the mid-Michigan region.
