PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
Upgraded seating costs $10 and uses a separate ticket, which you must purchase in addition to your Festival Daily Ticket or Common Card. All persons wishing to use upgraded seating must purchase an Upgraded Seating ticket, including children 10 and under.
Upgraded seating for the Capital Region International Airport main stage begins at row 50. Upgraded seating means you do not have to bring your own chair to the Festival, and you may roam the grounds before or during the shows. This allows you to enjoy the entertainment at the Festival, without losing your seat. Upgraded seating will be approximately 100 feet from the stage. The upgrade areas are to the left and right of the central sound mix station. There is no other way to ensure you have a reserved seat at the Festival, which is why we call this an Upgrade Seat ticket.
Those familiar with upgraded seating may recall that last year numbered rows beginning with row 1. This year, so we are better able to represent the position of upgrading seating on Festival grounds, we have started the numbering at 50, since reserved seating begins approximately 50 rows from the stage front. The location of upgraded seating has not changed, only the numbering system. This means if you had a ticket for upgraded seating, row 3 last year, this year your ticket would read "Row 53". The location remains the same.
You can purchase a seat upgrade ticket when you place your ticket order online, or at all other ticket outlets, including the Festival gate box office on the night of the event, while upgraded seating lasts.
