COMMON GROUND MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FINAL LINE-UP Lansing, MI— Officials announce final acts for this year’s Miller Lite Concert Series at the Common Ground Music Festival, which will be held July 7 - 13, 2008. The following additional artists will be performing throughout the festival week in Adado Riverfront Park:

The Common Card, general admission seven-day pass is on sale now and is only $85 in advance (and $95 beginning July 1st), while supplies last! Save $10 and buy before July 1st!
Single day general admission tickets are on sale now! Individual, single day general admission tickets for Monday, July 7th, Tuesday, July 8th, Wednesday, July 9th, Thursday, July 10th, Saturday, July 12th and Sunday, July 13th are $26 in advance and $32 beginning July 1st. Individual, single day general admission tickets for Friday, July 11th are $34 in advance and $39 beginning July 1st.
NEW! Reserved nightly UPGRADE for the Capital City Airport WEST MAIN STAGE! Only $10 per night! No need to bring a chair, we have your spot reserved! With this upgrade, you get prime seating in the middle of the concert venue. The seats are located next to the sound mixing position, approximately 150’ from the front of the Capital City Airport West Main Stage. Feel free to roam the grounds and enjoy the entertainment and know that your seat will be waiting for you when you are ready to enjoy the show. The section includes approximately 150 seats nightly*. - “Lao Tizer” Contemporary jazz
keyboardist and recording artist, Lao Tizer will be opening for Zappa
Plays Zappa. His latest release, Diversify
spent numerous weeks on Billboards Contemporary Jazz Album Chart (#42) and
continues to appear on the chart.
Both singles "Uptown" and "Diversify" charted
at radio building the buzz nationwide.
Tour highlights include debut appearances in New
York City - Liberty Jazz Festival (with George Benson, Chuck
Mangione, Christian McBride and more), Jacksonville, FL
- Jacksonville Jazz Fest (with Benson & Jarreau) and Catalina JazzTrax
Festival.

- “David Barrett” Emmy Award winner
and known for his 22 YEARS OF ONE
SHINING MOMENT featured on CBS’s annual coverage of the NCAA Men’s
Basketball Final Four Tournament.
David recently scored the tv documentary entitled The Medal.
A film about the Congressional
Medal of Honor, showing in the spring of ’08; and also tapped
to write the score for The Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, showing in the fall of
‘08 (9/11.) Accompanying David on
stage is Brian Brill, a pianist
and two-time Emmy Award winning composer.

- “Kathie Dunbar” Active in the Lansing community for more than a
decade, Kathie Dunbar was elected to Lansing City Council in 2005. She is the daughter of Tom and Lois,
wife of Sam, and mother of Ethan, Evan Emma, and Eva, all of whom provide
glorious comedic material for her show.
While politicians regularly provide fodder for comedians, Kathie
may be the only comedienne ever to take the stage WHILE IN OFFICE.
