  • “Staind” These rockers released their first album in 1996 and Staind has not stopped since. They continue to produce hit after hit and perform in front of sell-out crowds. Their first studio album, Dysfunction, was released in 1999 and followed up with Break The Cycle, which enjoyed a prolonged spot at #1 on the charts and spawned many radio hits including, “It’s Been a While,” “Fade” and “For You”. Their critically acclaimed album, 14 Shades of Grey, was released in 2003 and much like the band’s previous work, it spent quality time atop the charts. Their most recent album, Chapter V, sticks to what the band does best, rock with well-known songs, “Right Here,” “Falling” and “Take This.”

Wednesday, July 9, 2008

  • “The Zombies featuring Rod Argent & Colin Blunstone” Around since the sixties, the Zombies, have reunited and are belting out your favorite English pop hits from their albums including Odessey & Oracle. The album produced many chart-topping hits including, “Time Of The Season,” “She’s Not There” and “Tell Her No.” Argent and Blunstone released their first new album together in 2001 and another in 2004, As Far As I Can See, which was the first to note The Zombies since the 1967 release of Odyssey & Oracle. The Zombies will be performing their hit singles as well as hits from Rod Agents 70’s solo career like “God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll To You” and “Hold Your Head Up.”

Thursday, July 10, 2008

  • “Kenny Wayne Shepherd” Famed bluesman, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, has a storied career that spans the last decade. His debut album, Ledbetter Heights, went platinum and was followed up with, Trouble Is… and Live On, which both received Grammy nominations and included hits like “Born With A Broken Heart,” “Slow Ride” and “Blue On Black.” He released his latest album, TEN DAYS OUT: Blues From The Backroads, in 2007 with much success. The idea behind the live album was to travel for ten days and get intimate recordings in intimate places and the goal was accomplished. Shepherd played live with some of the greatest blues legends including B.B. King, Etta Baker and Muddy Waters.

  • “Grand Funk Railroad” Known as “The American Band” and celebrating over thirty years of “funk,” Grand Funk Railroad, returns with new music but maintains the same signature sound that laid the groundwork for today’s rock genre. These five multi-talented individuals will be singing the band’s greatest hits including, “We’re an American Band,” “The Loco-Motion” and “Some Kind of Wonderful.”

  • “WAR” An American original, WAR, is known for their fusion of rock, jazz, latin and R & B while transcending racial and cultural barriers in the late sixties and seventies. WAR has sold over fifty million records to date and is still going strong with hits like, “Low Rider,” “Cisco Kid,” “Spill The Wine” and “Why Can’t We Be Friends.”

  • “The Sweet” Seventies pop rock band, The Sweet, is known for their chart-topping hits including, “Ballroom Blitz,” “Fox on the Run,” “Love is Like Oxygen” and “Little Willy.” They will be playing all the favorites and providing an energetic stage show that is second to none.
