He is best known for his album, Frampton Comes Alive!, a double-LP recorded in 1975. The album was a smash, rocketing to the top of the charts and selling over 16 million copies worldwide to become the most popular live album. Many hits followed one after the other including, “Fantasy Girl,” “Back Where You Belong” and “Like No Other Night.”
  • “The Guess Who” Canada’s first rock stars, The Guess Who, became popular after the 1968 release of their album, Wheatfield Soul, which featured the single “These Eyes.” After their initial success, they quickly released their follow up album, Canned Wheat.
