Big Sean to headline July 9th!

Michigan native Big Sean and special guest Fetty Wap will close out the 18th annual Common Ground Music Festival on Sunday, July 9th.

With over a quarter-billion YouTube views, 7-time BET Award-winning and Grammy® nominated superstar Big Sean has enjoyed a massive career in hip-hop since he emerged in 2011, with his debut album Finally Famous on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music/ Def Jam imprint. Dark Sky Paradise (2015) was Sean’s first platinum and first album to debut #1 on Soundscan. It reigned on the charts with the #1 “IDFWU” featuring E-40 (3×-platinum), “Blessings” featuring Drake and Kanye West (2×-platinum), and “One Man Can Change the World” featuring Kanye West and John Legend (gold).

His new album I Decided. (released Feb 2017) debuted at #1 on the momentum of the two pre-order instant great tracks that turned into smash singles, “Bounce Back” (RIAA gold with combined global streaming over 150 million), and “Moves” (combined global streaming over 50 million).

Joining Big Sean on Sunday, July 9th is American rapper and Trap artist Fetty Wap featuring Monty. Best known for sharing his love about his ride or die chick on his breakout hit “Trap Queen,” his hustle never stops. His profile rose when he earned co-signs from stars like Trey Songz, Rihanna, and Kanye west; and his mission in hip-hop is to use his fortunes to help his New Jersey community rise above their hardships.

Single Day Tickets for Sunday, July 9th go on-sale to the public on Friday, March 31st at 10:00 AM. Tickets can be purchased online at www.commongroundfest.com.
